Account feature toggle required: Default to Location Keypad

This feature requires an account feature toggle to be set in order for this option to display. Please contact your NorthStar representative to enable for your account.

When selected, the Location List keypad is displayed instead of the location map when users are directed to the Location Manager, such as on login or when Go to ... is tapped from a location. 

Location Map Background Images



Add Background Image



Account feature toggle required: 4.5 Location Map Background Images

This feature requires an account feature toggle to be set in order for this option to display. Please contact your NorthStar representative to enable for your account.

This feature allows a site to add a background image to the location map layout(s) on the POS device. 

  • Click Add Background Image

  • The Layout Items Selection window pops up

  • Select an image file to associate with the site to be used as an available background image

  • Click Associate Selection 

    • Note: One or more images can be associated and made available as background images 

  • If the desired image is not already in the media library for selection, click Add Media and upload file from the computer. 

  • After associating image selections, the display order of the images can be changed using the up or down arrows. This order will be reflected on the POS device when selecting layout background images. 

  • To delete an image from background images, click Delete

    • The image will still be available in the media library (See Media)

  • Click:

    • Save to save changes and exit page

    • Cancel to discard changes and exit page 

    • Apply to save changes and remain on page 

Application

  • At the bottom of the Location Manager, tap Manage, then tap Location Map.

  • On the Edit Location page, tap the layout icon and select the layout to be edited

  • Tap the image icon to edit the selected layout 

    • Option: Tap the plus sign + to add a new layout and background image

  • Swipe to select a background image from the images uploaded or select Use gray background (default). 

  • The selected background will be shown and will appear as the background for the layout on the location manager page 

  • Click Done to save changes and close the window or Cancel to discard changes and close the window
