Day Parts
Summary
A day part is a defined period of time that can be used to make specific menus available or unavailable during the specified times, e.g., a lunch menu would only appear during a specified lunch day part, a Mother's Day menu would only appear during a specified date/time day part.
Day parts are configured in ECM and can be configured by the site's time and days of the week available.
Configuration
To configure a day part in ECM, go to Sites > Day Parts:

The day parts grid displays the day parts that have been configured and the following elements:
Field | Description |

Add Day Part | Click to open a pop-up window |
Search | Search by entering any part of a name or description (alpha/numeric and characters accepted), then click Search |
Edit | Click the pencil icon to open the day part record to edit |
Name | The name of the day part |
Description | The description of the day part |
Start Date | The start date that this day part will be available NOTE: This date cannot be set in the future or it will show Null and items will not be shown. Date must be the current date for menu items to show. |
End Date | The end date that this day part will no longer be available |
Start Time | The start time that this day part will be available each day |
End Time | The end time that this day part will no longer be available each day |
Days of Week | The days of the week that this day part will be available |
Move up/Move down controls | Click the arrows to move a day part line up or down in the grid; this determines the menu display order on the application |
Pagination and number of items per page | Users can page through the records or select a specific page to view. Items per page allows user to select how many items to be displayed from list |
Number of items shown | Reflects number of items shown on page out of the total number of items |
