Summary
Sites can be configured to print UPC bar codes on receipts by item or by check total. Bar codes on receipts can be scanned for speedy customer checkout, especially useful for both kiosks and staff-facing ordering.
With bar code scanning, guests can place an order in one area of the site (a kiosk or deli station, for example) and receive the receipt. The receipt is then scanned at checkout for guest payment.
QR codes can be configured to print on receipts and on the guest payment screen. The QR code data parameters can be used to direct a user to NS Pay or to another page.
Configuration
Bar Codes
By default, the Bar Codes print settings are unselected.
When both boxes are checked, additional configuration options are shown.
Option - You can also opt to print barcodes only on labels.
