Limit Access to Quantity Keypad
Summary
The ordering screen includes a vertical keypad that can be toggled to either select seat numbers (indicated by a seat icon at bottom) or to select quantity (indicated by QTY at bottom). The user can tap the icon at the bottom of the vertical keypad to switch between the seating and quantity keypad.
Sites can limit access to the quantity function of the keypad and only allow it to be used for seat numbers (when enabled).
Configuration
Access to the Quantity keypad is restricted by job type.
Path: Users > Jobs > Workflow - Select Allow access to Quantity keypad
To allow the keypad to be used for seat number selection, enable seat numbers for the site and for the areas desired.
Site
Path: Edit a site > General - Select Enable seat number
Area
Path: Edit a site > Areas - Select Enable seat number
Operational workflow
Allow seat number selection; do not allow quantity selection
- ECM setting: Enable seat number (site and area) = selected
The user can access the seat number keypad and order by seat number. - ECM setting: Job > Workflow > Allow access to Quantity keypad = not selected
The user cannot access the Quantity keypad and cannot use quantity selection.
Allow quantity selection
- ECM setting: Jobs: Allow access to Quantity keypad= selected
User can access the quantity keypad and order items by tapping quantity.
Seat number selection and quantity selection not allowed
- ECM setting: Enable seat number (site and area) = not selected
- ECM setting: Jobs: Allow access to Quantity keypad= not selected
User cannot access either the quantity keypad or the seat number keypad.
