Quick-Pay Preset Payment Buttons

Summary

Quick-pay buttons allow the user to select a payment method with one tap and go immediately to the payment or adjustment workflow, eliminating the need to go to the Payment screen first to select the payment method. Quick-pay payment buttons are configured by area so they can be used in selected areas as needed by the operator. 


ECM Configuration

Quick-pay buttons are enabled by area in ECM.

  • Path: Sites > SItes and Groups > edit a site

  • Go to an Area and select: Show payment buttons on order screen

Operation

When the guest is ready to pay, tap the appropriate quick-pay payment button to complete payment or adjustment. Each payment button will take the user through the appropriate payment workflow. 

  • Cash - Take the user to the payment page to enter the amount of cash received. 

  • Credit Card - Takes the user through the credit card payment workflow to access payment device and apply credit card.

  • Gift Card - Takes the user through the gift card payment workflow to access payment device and apply gift card.

  • Alternate - Takes the user to the alternate payment workflow to select an alternate payment type to apply. 

  • Next Dollar - Rounds the cash payment above the check amount and applies that amount toward payment. 

  • $5 Cash, $10 Cash, $20 Cash - The cash buttons tender a cash payment in the amount selected. Tap Apply Payment to apply the payment. If the check is greater than the amount tendered, the payment page will show the remaining balance. If the check is less than the amount tendered, the payment page will show the change due.

  • Adjustments - Takes the user to the Adjustments page where the user can select the type of adjustment to apply.
