Location Menu

The Location Menu has many of the point-of-sale features and settings that can be used and applied to the current location an iPad is attached to.

This menu is the first page shown when logging onto the staff user interface.

Seat Table/Update Number in Party	Enter the number of guests to be seated in the table service or guest-facing operation modes. If already seated, the label changes; tap to update the number in party.
Cash Pre-Auth	Must be tapped to verify that a party has the cash to pay for their order before adding any menu items to the session. (Location setting)
Activate Comp	Swipe a gift card to activate it
No Sale	Tap No Sale to open the attached cash drawer.
Advance orders - location menu	Displays a list of advance orders beginning with tomorrow's date.
Delivery Orders	Displays a list of scheduled delivery orders.
Card Inquiry	Tap then swipe a gift card to show the gift card's balance.
Take Control/Release	Release or override ownership of a session. (Must have job permission to override.)
Take-Out Orders	Displays a list of take-out orders for today's date.
Pre-Orders	Displays a list of pre-orders, created in kiosk mode, from the start of the day until now.
Move Table - Location menu	Move the current location's session to a new location. (Must have job permission.)
Verify Age	A pop-up will display when a menu item (such as alcohol) requires age verification, prompting the server to verify age before the item can be ordered. When age is verified, tap Verify Age to confirm the guest can order the item. (Area and menu item setting)
Check search	Displays a list of checks created within the last 90 days. This includes open, closed, and scheduled take-out order checks.
Edit Checks	Allows modifications to the checks such as adding or deleting checks, moving items between checks, splitting by seat number or using the menu to print, apply adjustments or manage tips.
Manage Tips	Used to add or adjust tips.
Clean Screen	Blanks out the iPad screen for cleaning. Tap Done to return to the location menu.
Mode	Displays the current operating mode for the location.
Print All Checks	Print all checks at the current location.
Print All Payments	Print all payments at the current location.
Finalize	The Finalize button is enabled when: Orders are not yet submitted or sent; unsent orders will be discarded. Payments are completed and no balance remains on the session. Clears the current session and creates a new one. If orders have been sent but payment has not been completed, an error message will display:
