Move Table - Location menu

Summary

A user may elect to move a session that has been started at one table to another location in the restaurant. A user must have the proper permission to move the session. 

To move a session to a new location, the user can tap Move Table and select a new location from a list that appears in a pop-up window. 

Configuration

Set the user permission for their job in ECM: Can move the location of a session 

Operation

  • Tap Move Table from the Location Menu to launch the pop-up with a list of available locations 
  • The user can either select a location from the list or do a search (alphabetical or numeric search) for a location
  • Move is not enabled until a location has been selected 

  • To do a search: 
    • Tap the search field; a keyboard will appear 


  • Alphabetical search: Enter one or more letters. The search results will display all locations that match the entry


  • Numerical search: Enter one or more numbers. The search results will display all locations that match the entry

  • Tap the location desired. 
  • Move will be enabled
  • Tap Move to move the session to the selected location
