Staff Login from Guest UI

Summary

In Guest UI, the staff is logged out from the application on the POS device while the guest uses the device for ordering and payment. Staff may need to log in on the device to perform certain actions, such as to apply adjustments, take payment or finalize the check.

Operation

For staff to log in on the POS device while in guest-facing mode, the following gestures can be used. Either action will return the user to the staff login keypad. 

• 5-finger tap on any Guest UI screen 

  • Tap on the screen with five fingers of one hand

• 3-second long press on Start Over (lower left) 

  • Use a finger to press and hold on Start Over until the login keypad pops up 

Open

• Either action will return the user to the staff login keypad
