Credit card signature on iPad device

Customers can sign for their credit card charges either on the chit (paper receipt) or on the iPad device. This is managed through the site's ECM > Site > Payment settings for all transaction or by each Area through an override (feature toggles must be Activated for the customer account). 

Payment setting:

• To set signature on the iPad device for the site go to the site's Payment tab. Under Settings, set Signature type to Screen (by default it is Chit - Receipt), or through the Area > Edit Area > Payment settings, set Override site payment signature setting > Signature required: Yes > Signature type: Screen. 

iOS workflow:

• If signature on screen is required on screen, the screen will show the signature area

• The customer can sign for the charge in the area shown. 

Open

• If signature on chit is required, the receipt will print with a signature line

Open

• If signature is not required, receipt will not print for signature and screen will not display signature area
