1. New Features & Improvements

Certain new features and improvements require an account feature toggle be enabled to activate the feature. Contact your NorthStar representative to discuss.
Some items represent a portion of the work required and will be completed in a future application release.

Cashout

• User Drawer assignment: Unassign users from drawers at clock out, cash out and end of day 
• Cashout - Entire House: Can enter deposit for entire house 
• House Cashout: Allow entire house cashout when user cashouts are pending
• DSR (App)/Cashout: Show quantities for Category, Adjustments and Tender (match ECM DSR)

Payment Processing

• Payment processing: Revise MPPG implementation for Vantiv processor 
• Gift card payment: Prompt for tip amount on PAX device 

Audit Log

• Audit log: Include "Print check" when $ is tapped on check

2. Fixes

Advance Orders

• Advance Order with a deposit prints the receipt chit
• Able to properly schedule pick-up times for future dates 

Cashout

• DataMat.Cashout populates with drawer cashout amounts
• Reprinted cashout displays data properly
• After automatic cashout has occurred, the Entire House cashout report displays proper data
• Cash Deposit window no longer displays when manager finalizes entire house cashout

Cash Drawers

• Cash Drawer Assignments properly displays drawer 1

Checks

• Reopened checks in Location Manager displays an error message if unable to access the check and no longer shows a continuous spinning wheel
• Able to modify tips on reopened checks
• Able to refund checks with memos attached
• Advanced Order no longer detaches you from location once sent to kitchen
• Check Search kepad fixed to allow user to search by location number 

Gift Cards

• Signature and tip lines are printed correctly on gift card chits
• Gift Card sale displays and accesses the purchase screen properly
• Able to reload gift card through manual entry

Guest Facing

• Split balances correctly calculate tip on guest facing
• Guest payment allows for receipts to be emailed
• I Want To Pay button no longer displays ECM background image 

Functionality

• App adjusted for faster response time and reduce lag

Kitchen Printing

• Like components are now properly consolidated on kitchen chits when "Consolidate like items" is set
• Send to kitchen on finalize prints order in the kitchen

Logic Controls

• Voided check item no longer removes entire check from Logic Control screen
• Menu Items with left and right placements (Pizza) display on Logic Control screen

iPad

• Synced iPads no longer display "Invalid Payment Amount" for split items with adjustments

Logic Controls

• Voided items on check are correctly removed from Logic Controls screen

Menu Manager

• Once Menu Items are marked as unavailable, they can no longer be added to checks

Ordering

• Memo no longer added to all menu items that were ordered as a QTY and then ungrouped
• "Add to Order" orders items for Combo First meal without having to customize already required components 
• Serving Options and default component display under menu items when set "Only show Components Add & Remove"
• Quantity countdown indicator of 86ing an item displays quicker 
• App no longer crashes when playing items on left or right (Pizza)
• Countdown indicator number total on menu item reflects on all iPads

Payment

• Gratuity no longer displays as a remaining balance when applied to a check
• Magensa payments stay on checks 
• Gift Card with insufficient funds will only subtract available amount on card and return a message that there s a remaining balance left on the check
• Split payments with additional tip are correctly calculated on balance of split check 
• Error no longer displays for a check with split payment and adjusting the tip via the PAX device
• Able to process multiple EMV payments on Guest Payment
• Pending credit card payment that fails to complete no longer prints
• Chip processed credit card payments via PAX device no longer disappears off the check
• Able to void duplicate credit card charges created from eDynamo/Magensa reader
• Cannot apply Void, Comps, or Discounts, to a check after payment has already been applied to the check
• Splitting a payment no longer displays "Unsupported Payment Type"
• Cash Received populates the correct amount
• Ordered combo items allow for proper access to blue payment button
• Modify already paid checks displays correct payment screen
• Updated amount displays on payment screen after reopened and modified check

Permissions

• Gratuity properly accessible with correct job permissions

Peripheral

• Tips added on VX805s will reflect on receipts and app

Printing

• Failover printing properly redirects receipt to set printer
• Location set not to print will correctly not print a receipt

Publishing

• App no longer crashes after a site deploy
• User Deploys complete without error messages

Receipts

• Gratuities are separated and listed individually by type

Reports

• Desktop reporting client no longer displays a clock-out time for employees that are still on the clock
• Once automatic cashout occurs, total of user's cashout no longer displays on Entire House
• DSR subtracts tips from cash collected
• Entire House cashout includes paidouts/in
• Credit Card refund column matches total number of refunded credit card transactions
• No Sale no longer creates a blank check that doesn't allow for a house cashout report

Time Clock

• Able to adjust time clock punches after returning from break
• Total hours of two week work period does not exceed 80.00 hours
• Users can properly clock-in/out when grace periods are set for breaks
• Users are properly clocked out of system during end of day and payroll close
• Adjusted time records are displayed with correct clock in/out and deleted records have a strike across 
• Automatically clocked out users have their time records correctly displayed 
• Users able to clock out without cashout when "Can clock out without cashout" permission is set

WebAPI

• Large orders taken through the WebAPI no longer time out
• Able to apply discounts/copms/void to checks on orders taken through WebAPI
• Able to refund payments on checks that were taken via WebAPI
