1. New Features & Improvements

Certain new features and improvements require an account feature toggle to be enabled to activate the feature. Contact your NorthStar representative to discuss this.
Some items represent a portion of the work required and will be completed in a future application release.

• Payment: Heartland MPPG Integration 

• Guest-Facing: Add setting to configure guest identifier prompt in kiosk mode

• Tax Calculation: Option to round the total tax at check level or item level

• Time Clock: Overtime Rules capability added using configurable thresholds and multipliers 

• Check Finalization: If check has items not yet sent to kitchen, provide capability to send items and finalize check in one action 

• Web Ordering API: Add setting allowing online orders to be placed regardless of item availability in POS  

• Payment: Prevent duplicate payment by locking check during payment process after iPad has been restarted 

• House cashout: Show checks from web API order that have not been cashed out prior to performing house cashout 

• Payment: Control tip prompt on PAX external device

• Check Audit Log report: Add Location and Device columns; audit combo, credit card and web ordering API transactions 

• Kitchen Chit Order Type: After an order is moved to a new table, the kitchen chit will display the default order type of the location the items are sent from (the new location, not the original location)

2. Fixes

Payment & PAX

• Suggested Gratuity correctly calculates on subtotal

• Adding a New Tip to an existing credit card transaction no longer displays an invalid tender amount error message

• PAX prompts for tip correctly when flagged

• Voided offline transactions are properly finalized

• Tap OK once to register applying tip to an offline credit card transaction

• Credit Card numbers are masked on receipts for MagTek transactions

• EMV transactions correctly display last 4 digits of credit card transaction

• Offline Credit Cards applies tip after pressing Ok once

Online Ordering

• Transactions ordered online can be finalized properly

• Pickup time of NOW correctly prints out guest information of name and phone number

• Able to correctly finalize checks ordered online

Guest UI

• Adding Additional Tips no longer causes app to freeze

• Suggested Gratuity amounts display proper amounts

• Split payments with credit cards display the correct last four digits on split transactions

• Able to correctly order an item after saving it to favorites

• Able to add and subtract components for modification

Checks

• Selected data range filter for advance orders is honored

Menus

• Selected qualifiers in combos properly expedite when app goes idle

• Restricted items are also unavailable in Guest-Facing UI

• 86’d items in Menu Manager correctly stay unavailable

• Quantity indicator for out-of-stock displays proper numerical digits

• Components display properly when scrolling through the menu

• Quantity counter for an out-of-stock item displays correctly

Application

• Decreased load times and delays in app

• Guest Facing displays items correctly on iPads updated to 13.1 iOS and above

• AppCenter apps certificates have been renewed

• eDynamo displays wireless card reader when paired

Adjusments

• Refunds for separate payment types are displayed correctly when adjusted

• Refunded items paid with gift card returns funds back to gift card

• Apply Payment button functions properly when applying a cash refund before finalizing transaction

Time Clock

• Break notifications display for managers correctly

• Regular Hours displays 80.00 total

• Punches are properly deleted when adjusted

Receipt

• Cardholder message at the bottom of receipt has been corrected for consistency

Printing

• Checks moved to a different location will correctly print to their location printers if routed so

Processing

• Credit Card transactions display on Vantiv portal and on ECM and local server reports

Order Entry Software

• Installation includes all new ECM Instances

• Data Exporter included in installer

• Internal Microsoft URL

Reports

• iOS Payment report loads correctly

Publishing

• MenuChanged Event fires in Webhook
