Taxes
Summary
Taxes can be applied to a menu item by using the Taxes tab.
Specific sites can be excluded from using specific taxes
Configuration
Tax Types are first created in ECM > Financial > Tax Types. These tax types will then be available to be applied to menu items.
Apply taxes to menu item
To apply the taxes to a menu item, click the Taxes tab, then select all that apply.
Taxed for Takeout - Select this option if the item is eligible to be taxed for Takeout
Tax Exemptions
To exempt a site from a specific tax:
Click Add Tax Exemption.
Select a site from the dropdown list.
Select the Tax Type to be exempted from the site from the dropdown list.
Click Save changes to save or Cancel changes to discard changes to tax exemptions.
To delete a tax exemption:
Click Delete.
Click OK on the confirmation message.
The tax exemption will be deleted from the menu item and will no longer apply.
Save, Cancel, Apply
To save the work on the Taxes tab, click Apply to save and remain on the page, or click Save to save and close the page. Click Cancel to close the page without saving.
