Text guest to join loyalty program

Summary 

With this optional feature enabled and the settings configured in ECM, staff can text guest a link to join the company's loyalty/reward program. Upon receipt, the guest can click the link and go to the site's loyalty enrollment page to join the loyalty program.  

The link Text to join loyalty is available on the following pages of the app: 

  • Rewards pop-up
  • Guest identifier pop-up (with and without mobile number field)
  • Guest identifier speed screen (with and without mobile number field)

Optional feature - Account feature toggle required

An account feature toggle must be enabled for your account to use this feature: 
Text to join loyalty program 

Please contact your NorthStar representative to have this feature enabled for your account. 

  • In ECM, go to the Staff Facing page. Select the setting to show the link, enter the URL of the loyalty enrollment landing page and enter the message to be sent to the guest. 

Operation

The link Text to join loyalty is available on the following pages of the app: 

  • Rewards pop-up
  • Guest identifier pop-up (with and without mobile number field)
  • Guest identifier speed screen (with and without mobile number field)

To send a text to the guest with the link to the loyalty enrollment page: 

  • Click Text to join loyalty. 

  • On the keypad pop-up that displays, enter the guest's mobile number and tap Send.

  • The guest will receive a text message with a link to the company's loyalty enrollment page.
