Menu Manager - cashier menu

The Menu Manager is used to configure any items that are out of stock and are not available to be sold (86 an item) at the time in the restaurant. This prevents servers from placing orders for items that are not available. 

Set the user permission for their job in ECM: Can 86 an item, component or serving option from the menu

  • Tap Menu Manager (Fig 1)
  • Select a menu to view the menu items on that menu (Fig 2). 
    • Search can also be used to find a specific item.

  • Uncheck the items that are not available (out of stock); the items are shown in red if the slider toggle for "Show Unavailable Items" is turned on, green. 
  • Also, a quantity field is to the right of the name, to countdown the quantity remaining (Fig 2, above).  
  • Use Back to return to the list of menus (see Fig. 1, above) 
  • To view items that have been flagged as out of stock, tap the red "Show All ... available" to the right of the slider.

  • Unavailable items (Fig3, above) can be checked individually or for all items tap the checkbox next to Menu Items to checkmark all menu items 
  • Tap Publish Changes to commit any changes 
  • To return to viewing all items, tap Show All Available
