1. Introduction

This document provides information about the latest updates for NorthStar for your restaurants point-of-sale system.

2. Special Considerations During ECM Upgrades

NorthStar ECM upgrades occur within our cloud servers in the early morning and are not location based. In order to properly access ECM, please make sure you have a constant internet connection and firewalls allow access to our ECM website at ecm.cbsnorthstar.com. Please refer to our NorthStar Order Entry System Requirements for information on firewall allowances and access.

NOTE: These are ECM items only. In some cases the application portion of the work will be provided in a future application release.

4. Improvements

  • Inactive ECM sites will not be able to receive any deploys.
  • Several text and UI improvements 



5. Fixes

  • Unset time fields in Breaks tab will display an error message before you can save.
  • Inclusion of additional error messages have been incorporated into the UI for an easier set up experience.
  • Minor UI fixes and tweaks.
