How to install Landing Pad SQL version onto an existing Legacy Landing Pad Installation

To install landing pad SQL version onto a legacy system, the current landing pad service must be uninstalled first.

Step-by-step guide

 

  1. Make a backup of the c:\Program Files\NorthStar\Landing Pad folder

  2. Open a command prompt (run as administrator)

  3. Change to the Landing Pad folder (cd\program files\northstar\landing pad)

  4. Type the following command to uninstall the landing pad service (installutil /u landingpadservice.exe) and press enter

  5. Run the new Landing Pad Installation.
