How to Install a Dynamic Grid Module

This guide will explain how to get the Dynamic Grid module installed and up and running

Step-by-step guide

Minimum requirements:

  •  Portal version 2.2.2.7

Install media:

  • Drop Box\EIF Engineering\_ReleasedModules\NorthStar.DynamicGrid-2011.12.15.zip
  • Inside the zip you will find another ZIP file, NorthStar.DynamicGrid.zip, this is the actual dynamic grid.
  • The XML files are different files that can be loaded into the dynamic grid once installed on the portal.

Installation:

  • Open the Portal Config tool
  • Click on Module Installer
  • Point to the NorthStar.DynamicGrid.zip and click Install

Portal:

  • Log in with Admin rights
  • Click Edit tab
  • Under Module Type locate NorthStar Dynamic Grid and place it in the tab
    Click Apply Changes on the top left of the page

 

  • Now click on the Edit link and configure the Grid  

  • To upload additional “Reports” Browse to any of the XML files contained in the initial ZIP file.
