On the Border Menu Export distribution

On the Border uses Northstar Rocket to distribute the menu changes created at their corporate office.

The way they generate the menu changes that will be sent to the stores is through the use of the Wexport.exe utility of Positouch. This application will generate the menu files with an extension of .exp, and they will be placed in the L:\sc directory of the corporate office.

After creating the .exp files, a rocket mission will pick up these files from the L:\sc directory at the corporate posdriver.
The rocket application will use "menuget" as its argument to be able to process the .exp files (zip them), and transfer them to the Landing pad.

The way to find out the argument used by rocket, and the destination location of the .exp files, you may connect to the Landing pad server. The connection is available at the Bomgar application:

 

At the Landing Pad server, you can click "Sessions" at the Missions section of the Landing pad

 

To find out where the .exp files will be placed at the Landing pad server, you can click on the "Get files" of the Mission section of the Landing pad application.

To find out the Rocket argument to be used at the Stores that will be used to receive the .exp files from the corporate office, you can click on "Sessions" in the Missions sections of the Landing pad application.

 

To find out the destination location of the .exp files at the stores that will be updated, you can click on the "Send files" of the Missions section of the Landing pad server.
