Dispatch Dashboard - Require ECM login to access 




The dispatch dashboard is a web application that can be used to view and manage online/phone orders from one dashboard for efficient expediting and order management. When completed, the dashboard web page will display all open (non-finalized) orders and their current state. Staff and guests will have the ability to communicate via text message. Text messages can be preset for easy selection.

Dispatch Dashboard login

Before accessing the Dispatch Dashboard application, users must be authenticated by logging in on the ECM login screen. They can access the Dispatch Dashboard from the link on the ECM home page or by entering the Dispatch Dashboard URL in a new browser tab or window.

  • Access from ECM
    • When the user logs in to ECM and has permission to use Dispatch Dashboard, they will see access to order entry and to dispatch
    •  Click dispatch
      • A dispatch token is generated and the user is redirected to the dispatch site. 


  • Access from a browse tab or window 
    • Enter the Dispatch Dashboard URL on a new browser tab or window. (Will also be able to access from the app when the app feature is complete.) 

 

  • User is redirected to the ECM login screen

  • Log in; a dispatch token is generated and the user is redirected to the dispatch site. 

Online Ordering: Payeezy payment settings

In Online Ordering configuration, additional settings were added to the Hosted credit card processor section when Payeezy is the selected credit card processor: 

  • Gateway ID
  • Password 

The values for these settings are provided by Payeezy to the client. These settings allow a transaction void to be performed through the Payeezy API. 

ECM Report: Time Record Details Report

On the Time Record Details report, clicking Collapse All will collapse records to the serve name level; clicking Expand All will expand records to the individual time record detail level.

Default state: 


Click Collapse All: Report records are collapsed to the server name level. 


Click Expand All: Report records are expanded to the time record level. 

ECM Report: Labor Summary by Job report

ECM report: Labor Summary by Job report 

The new Labor Summary by Job report provides total hours worked and wages (regular, overtime and double time) for each job by department. 
The report can be run for one or more sites or site groups and for a specified date range.  

  • ECM Access permission - User role must be permitted to run the Labor Summary by Job report. 

  • Select site(s) or group(s) and date range. Click Refresh Report. 

  • The report can be exported to Excel, PDF or CSV format. 

ECM Report: Item Sales by Area

The Item Sales by Area report is a new ECM report. 

  • Can be run by user whose Role is permitted to run the Item Sales by Area report (See Roles.)

Description: 

  • Shows sales in real time reported by area
  • Can be run for 1 or more stores (Sales in the same area name will be combined for multiple stores.)
  • Each area can be expanded to show Sales Category detail:
    • Sales Category
    • Quantity
    • Cover Count
    • Net Sales
    • Comp
    • Discount
    • Gross Sales
    • Percentage  
  • Each Sales Category can be expanded to show menu item sales detail:
    • Item name
    • External Code
    • Quantity
    • Cover Count
    • Net Sales 
    • Comp (dollar amount)
    • Discount (dollar amount) 
    • Gross Sales 
    • Percentage (item percentage of sales in area) 
  • Report totals include non-revenue sales (gift card sales, deposits, etc.) and will not match Sales Summary report totals. 
  • Can be exported to Excel, PDF and CSV formats.

TruCommerce Integration - ECM Configuration (Progress to date)

This describes only the ECM configuration. The POS feature will be available in an upcoming NorthStar App/Server release. 
This TruCommerce integration project will allow grocery items to be ordered from the NorthStar POS.

  • New tab added: Menu Provider 

  • Click Add Provider and add settings: 
    • Select Menu Provider from dropdown
    • Enter Username and password
    • Select Sales Category
    • Select Day Part when this menu provider is available

Import/Update Tax Rates and Site Menu Items 

TruCommerce tax rates and site menu items data are imported via the TruCommerce API. 

After enabling the TruCommerce account feature toggle and creating the menu provider: 

  • Go to Sites and select sites to publish. Click Deploy Site(s)
  • On the Deploy Site(s) pop-up window, enter a comment (optional) and click Publish

  • Records are imported and created in the database tables.  

Tax rates imported from TruCommerce

  • New tab added to Tax Rates: TruCommerce Taxes 

  • When tax rates are imported from TruCommerce, they populate the TruCommerce Taxes page. TruCommerce taxes cannot be modified on this page. 
  • TruCommerce taxes do not appear on the Multiple Taxes page. 


Menu items imported from TruCommerce

  • When menu items are imported, a menu item for every applicable tax rate is created and tax rates are applied. 
  • Menu items that are imported from TruCommerce are added to the appropriate table in the database and do not appear on the following ECM pages: 
    • Menu Items
    • Menu Item Pricing
    • PLU/Barcode Module
