Cashier Menu - archive

The Cashier Menu is where a user may easily access and manage many of the Point of Sale features & settings having to do with monetary and menu management.

This menu is available by swiping to the right page when using the staff user interface.



Available Buttons on the Cashier Menu:

  • Time Clock - archive - Navigates to the time clock user interface. Here an employee can clock in, declare tips, view their punches, create or adjust punches & print their time card.
  • Adjustments - Navigates the user to the adjustments screen (also accessible from the take payment screen).
  • /wiki/spaces/ED/pages/13336668 - Select this button to bring up the Order Entry reports.
  • Paid In/Out - Select this button to submit a paid in or paid out.
  • Training Mode - User may select whether a staff member is in training mode or not
  • Guest-Facing Status: Allows the staff to change whether Guest-facing is available for the current iPad.
  • Menu Manager - archive - Select this button to bring up the menu manager. Here a user may set an item to Out-Of-Stock (disabling the menu item on all iPads).
  • Refund - The refund button allows a user to perform a general over-ring. Select the button and then order the menu items to add as a negative value.
  • Reopen Closed Check - Enter the number of a previous check to preview or reopen a closed check.
  • System Messages - Displays recently published changes to ECM and allows a user to download updates if available.
  • Edit Settings - Lists the Site Address, Port, Socket Port, Device Name & Registration ID. A user may also select force data load to automatically load updates the next time the application is restarted.
