1. New Features
Component Import / Export
This allows for ECM users to export and import components to the ECM cloud database.
Log into ECM.
Navigate to Products then to Components.
Import/Export options for the component list.
Export
Verify active components to export.
Click Export button.
Components will export as a CSV file that user can save.
CSV file will sort Components with all their General tab information.
CSV format below is needed for correct import in next step.
NOTE - Do not edit column "Component External ID(DO NOT EDIT)", as stated.
Import
Click Import button, then click on Import button in pop-up.
Select your edited CSV file to upload.
A percentage bar will display if CSV file uploaded properly. Click close.
Verify Components have imported.
QSR Mapping added to Guest Identifier Category
(This is still a work in progress 1/2/2025)
Each Guest Identifier Category created in ECM now has the QSR Property to Map section.
2. Improvements
Component Site Availability
This allows for components to be flagged for availability for sites.
Log into ECM.
Navigate to Products then to Components.
Edit a component.
Click on Site Availability tab and select sites to exclude.
If a component is excluded from a site, the component will NOT be usable in the App for that site.
Item Required setting sorted in alphabetical order
The Area option, “Item required from selected category per guest” drop-down is now sorted alphabetically.
Log into ECM.
Navigate to Sites and edit a site.
Click on Areas tab.
Select “Item required from selected category per guest” and click drop-down.
All menu item categories are now in alphabetical order.
HotSchedules Nicknames, Sales, and Labor
HotSchedules can now separately sync nicknames, sales, and labor in ECM.
Nickname is selected by default for sites that already have set the other two options selected already.
Log into ECM.
Navigate to Sites and then Sites and Groups.
Edit a Site.
Select the Integrations tab then Hot Schedules.
Options to sync sales, labor, and nickname selections separately.
HTML Receipt Templates UI Improvements
Updated receipt customization templates for account and how to
“Enable Receipt Customization” feature needs to applied for account first.
Log into ECM.
Navigate to Sites then Receipts.
Click on Templates tab.
Select the Site(s) you want these template changes applied to.
Select between two different Receipt Types.
Guest Receipt
CC Payment Receipt
Edit the Template to how account wants receipts printed.
Job Permission - Combine Unpaid Checks
(This is still a work in progress 1/2/2025)
New job permission added “Allow user to combine unpaid checks” for Windows Application.
Navigate to ECM.
Navigate to Jobs.
Add or edit a job.
Select option in Permissions tab.
Job Permission - Manually Activate Gift Cards
(Windows Application portion still in progress, 1/2/2025)
New job permission added “Allow user to manually activate gift cards.
Menu Item Categories - Display Order
ECM user is now able to edit the Display Order column numerically.
Log into ECM.
Navigate to Categories then Menu Item Categories.
Edit the Display Order column numerically as needed.
Taxes - Alphabetically Sorted
All taxes will be closely sorted alphabetically.
“Sales Tax” will always display at the TOP despite sorting.
Login to ECM.
Navigate to Financial then Tax Types.
Click Name and it will sort the tax types.
Navigate to a menu item.
Click on taxes tab.
Click on Name under Tax Eligibility and it will sort the same way.
