Summary

Memos are visible on the application check, on kitchen screens and on tickets that are sent to the kitchen.

The purpose of a memo is to allow instructions to be sent to the kitchen.  Memos will not appear on the guest check.

Operation

Add a Memo

On the application, select a menu item to order.

 

Tap the blue i icon next to the item and tap Add Memo.

 

Type in a memo to send to kitchen (70 characters limit), then tap Save

 


Tap on the item to display the memo below.


 

Select Submit Order to send the order to the kitchen with the memo.

 

Once submitted, the memo will appear on the Kitchen Display System underneath the ordered item.

 

If using a printer, the kitchen receipt will appear on the ticket underneath the ordered item.

 

Remove/Modify a Memo

On the Order screen, tap the blue i icon next to the item.

 

To modify the memo, delete the old Memo, then enter the new memo and tap Save.

          

 

To remove the memo, tap Clear, then Save.


 

Note:

 Memos cannot be modified after they have been sent to the kitchen.
