Summary

At the site level, areas can be configured specifically for each restaurant. Areas can include dining rooms, counter service, patio, bar - any area the site needs for operation. The site can configure the areas that suit their concept and their physical location. Each area of the site will have locations; locations are tables, counters, kiosk, perhaps even stools in a bar area.

  • Area - This page displays the grid of areas that have been created. The process to add or edit an area started here.
  • Job Area Access - On this page, users can specify area access by job name (Bartender has access to Bar area, but not Bakery area, for example)
Add Area (button) Click to launch the Add Area page to configure the area 
Search (text box)Click in field to search information in the grid; numbers, letters and some characters accepted
SaveClick to save changes and close page
CancelClick to discard changes and close page
ApplyClick to apply changes and remain on page

  • The Area Name and Area Description columns are populated when an area is added (see Add an Area)
  • Columns can be filtered to narrow the data set
