Summary
Create/edit menu names, description and item prefixes on the General tab of the Menus page. Tax types to be applied to the menu are also configured here.
Items can be active in multiple menus.
Configuration
To navigate to the menus page, hover over Categories and click Menu.
Add menu
Click Add Menu to create a new menu. Complete each field.
Function | Description |

Name | The name of the menu displays on the point-of-sale terminal. |
Description | The description can only be seen in Enterprise Content Management. |
Print Prefix Items Ordered from this Menu on Receipt | If a prefix is specified, it is prepended to item names that are ordered from this menu and printed on the receipt. Useful for special menus such as breakfast, lunch specials, etc. |
Taxes (on the edit menu page) | Check or uncheck the box next to a tax to enable or disable it |
Edit menu
Click the icon next to a menu to edit the menu.

General - All general information of menu along with Menu Tax Types that apply to the menu.
Menu Item Categories - Select all applicable menu item categories that connect to this new menu.
Media - Apply a menu pic for guest facing and kiosk modes.
Menu Localizations - Language support for menus.

Operation
Menus can be configured to automatically default according to the day part (e.g., breakfast menu in the morning).They can also be selected from the Menus dropdown on the POS terminal.
When an item is ordered from a menu with prefixes configured, the prefix will precede the item name. In this example, an item has been ordered from one menu with no menu item prefix and another menu with a menu item prefix.
