Summary
Admins can schedule an employee pay rate change to take effect on an effective date that is equal to or greater than the current date.

Schedule Jobs and Rates
Please contact your NorthStar representative to enable this feature for your account.
Path: Users > edit a user > Jobs and Rates tab
- On Jobs and Rates, click edit (pencil) icon for a job
- Click Add new record to add a new record
- Enter pay rate and effective date
- The effective date is the first date when the new pay rate takes effect.
- Enter pay rate and effective date
- If modifying an existing record:
- Click in the Rate field to modify the rate
- Click in the Effective Date field to modify the effective date
- Save
Note: Pay rate and/or effective date can be edited before the effective date or within 15 days after the effective date.

Reporting
When new pay rate takes effect, it will be reflected on the following reports:
- ECM:
- Time Records report
- App:
- Payroll
- Time Report
If the user has two or more different rates for a job during the payroll period, each pay rate will be reflected on the reports.
