Summary
At the site level, areas can be configured specifically for each restaurant. Areas can include dining rooms, counter service, patio, bar - any area the site needs for operation. The site can configure the areas that suit their concept and their physical location.
Configuration
To edit an area, click the edit icon (pencil) for an area on the Areas page. The Edit Area page will open and default to the General tab.
Configuration
- The selections and entries made on the Add Area page are shown
- Automatic Gratuities (configured on the Gratuities page under Financial) are shown and can be selected as needed to enable the automatic gratuity for the area
- To edit, make the changes needed by editing text boxes or making different selections
- Click:
- Save to save changes and exit page
- Cancel to discard changes and exit page
- Apply to save changes and remain on page
