Customer Loyalty: Redeem Synergy Member Rewards (Win App)

Sites can administer loyalty programs to encourage customer loyalty by allowing customers to earn and redeem rewards. Synergy Loyalty Solutions is a loyalty and gift card provider that can be integrated with CBS NorthStar Order Entry.

Attach an existing customer

A customer must be attached to a check to redeem loyalty rewards.

  • Attach to a location and open a check.
  • To find an existing customer, tap the customer icon and enter customer details on the Customer page. Tap Search.  
  • The search request will be submitted to Synergy to confirm the account. 


  • If confirmed, the loyalty account is attached to the check and the message Customer attached to order. is shown. A numeric indicator is shown on the customer icon to show the number of accounts attached to the check. 
  • If the system is unable to match, an error is created. 

Add a new customer

  • Tap the customer icon on either the check ordering or payment screen.

  • Tap Add new customer and enter the email address, customer name and phone number. Tap Add and attach.
  • Note: A new loyalty member may not have redeemable rewards yet. Loyalty points are accrued when a customer is attached to a check and completes orders.  

  • If successful, the loyalty account will be attached to the check and the message Customer attached to order. will be shown. A numeric indicator will be shown on the customer icon to show the number of accounts attached to the check. 
  • If the system is unable to match, an error will be created. 

Redeem rewards

  • Order item(s); send to the kitchen
  • Tap Payment; the Rewards screen will automatically pop up and qualifying rewards for the ordered item(s) will be shown
  • If applicable, make any adjustments to quantity to be redeemed
  • Tap Redeem
    • The offer will be applied to the item and the view will return to the originating screen (payment screen or ordering menu screen) 
    • The redeemed reward is displayed below the menu item 

  • Note: Currently, the adjustment is not shown under the Adjustments on the check
