Tax Types - Archive
Summary
The Tax Types page allows a user to create additional tax types. The default tax type is Sales Tax. (The name is not editable.)
Configuration
To add a new sales tax, click Add new record. Enter the name of the new tax then click Save changes. Click Cancel changes to discard it.
Note:
After a tax has been created, it cannot be deleted. This is for purchase history purposes. All currency exchanges require a traceable path.
Operation
If taxes are not configured to display separately, the tax total will display as a single line item under the title "Tax Total." (Image at left)
If they are configured to display separately, each tax name will display as an individual line item. (Image at right)
