EMV (Credit Card Chip Reader) - System Requirements
With the release of version 4.0 Beta for Order Entry on May 1, 2016, the software is now compatible to utilize the EMV credit card chip reader on the Verifone VX805s at some sites. In order for the site to properly make use of this newly added feature, they will need to fulfill the requirements below, Related docs are noted below.
Requirements:
- Order Entry Server upgraded to latest 4.0 compatible version
- Order Entry Application installed to latest 4.0 version
- Verifone VX805s
- Payment Processor Merchant ID and password to allow card swipe or NFC/Tap to Pay transactions
- NETePay deployment ID to allow EMV transactions on the VX805
