Datacap NETePay Installation Setup
Before proceeding, verify the site's current payment processor by going to the site's Payment tab in ECM or contact @Brittany Busse (Unlicensed).
For this example, Mercury (Vantiv) is used:
Download the NETePay Installer from the Datacap website: https://datacapsystems.com/download
Click NETePay 5.0
Click the name of the site's current processor
After selecting Mercury (for this example), follow the steps provided on the installation page, then download and install the software. (For this Mercury example, the download file is called NETePay-MercuryHost50611-Install20151117-W8)
After completing the installation instructions, you will be asked to restart the server.
Double-click the NETePay icon that now appears on the desktop.
Click Obtain Serial Number - This should automatically approve.
The message "Configuration not set" will display. Click OK.
Hover mouse over Setup and click Setup Information.
Click Load New Parameters.
The prompt "Attempt Activation?" will display. Click Yes.
Click I Have My Deployment ID
Enter the Deployment ID. This is the Password for the Merchant ID in the LIVE site's ECM Payment Tab.
CBS Development has a shared ID that can only be used by one site at a time: CBSCOIRVI
If the Deployment ID is correct and verified, it will display the site's information. (If an error message appears, then the site's Deployment ID hasn't been approved yet for EMV utilization.)
It is imperative that you also put this software on to the Startup of Windows.
You can follow this document on how to add the program to Startup: https://www.howtogeek.com/208224/how-to-add-programs-files-and-folders-to-system-startup-in-windows-8.1/
DSI Drivers
Along with the NetEPay application, there are two dsi drivers that need to be installed as well. These are located on the same Datacap web page as NetEPay.
These drivers also need to be updated whenever the version of NetEPay is updated. If they are not updated as well it can cause VX805(s) to not work after NetEPay is updated.
You will only need to install/update the dsiEMVUS and dsiPDCX drivers
When installing these drivers, run them as administrator and reboot the server after finishing installing them.
