Configuration (ECM)
Combo menu items are created and configured in ECM in Menu Items. (See Combo First menu item - Add/EditAdd a Combo Menu Item)
- Combos consist of a group of qualifiers.
- In this example, the qualifiers for this combo menu item are a food qualifier, a drink qualifier and a side qualifier.
- Each qualifier consists of one or more menu items.
- The Food qualifier may have one or more food items
- The Drinks qualifier may have one or more drink items
- The Side qualifier may have one or more side items
...
- The automatic logic identifies the ordered items as qualifier items for more than one combo item
- The automatic logic selects the first corresponding combo as listed in ECM (in this example, Combo 4)
