Summary

In NorthStar Order Entry release 4.8, the Time Clock user interface has been updated to improve functionality and provide a better user experience. It includes the same functions as the original UI: 

...

  • Use the Time Clock, as before, to clock in/out, start/end breaks, adjust timecards, declare tips, change jobs, etc.

Time card details

Tap Time card details to open the Time Card Details screen.

  • The screen will default to show the time card details of the logged-in employee. The employee's name will be selected with a checkmark in the Employee list. 
  • To show time card details for all employees, tap the name of the logged-in employee to deselect the name.

  • Log out - Tap to log out and return to staff login screen.
  • Return - Tap to return to previous screen used to access the time clock. (If attached to a location, this will be the Ordering Menu; if not attached to a location, this will be the Location Manager.) 
  • Done - Tap to close Time Card Details and return to the time clock. 
  • Add time record 
    • Tap employee name in left panel.
    • Tap Add Time Record to open Add Time Record screen. Employee name will be autopopulated. 
    • Alternate: You can also tap Add Time Record then tap employee name to autopopulate the name.
