Summary

The Create/edit menu namenames, description and item prefixes can configured in the "General" tab.Image Removedon the General tab of the Menus page. Tax types to be applied to the menu are also configured here. 

Items can be active in multiple menus. 


Configuration

To navigate to the "menus" page page, hover over "Categories" and  and click Menu. Click the Image Removed icon next to a menu to edit the menu.

Click Add Menu to create a new menu. Complete each field.

If a prefix is specified, it is prepended to item names that are ordered from this menu and printed on the receipt. Useful for special menus such as breakfast, lunch specials, etc.

Operation

Menus can be configured to automatically default according to the day part (e.g., breakfast menu in the morning).They can also be selected from the Menus dropdown on the POS terminal.

Items can be active in multiple menus. Prefixes will only print on front of the item's name if it has been configured through the menu it was ordered from.

Tax Rates

the prefix will precede the item name. In this example, an item has been ordered from one menu with no menu item prefix and another menu with a menu item prefix.
