Set Up a New Scale
In Enterprise Content Management (ECM), click on the Sites page under the Sites tab.
Click the pencil icon next to the site you would like to add a scale on.
Click Peripherals; then click the Scales tab; click Add new record.
Enter the name of the scale and its Com Portcom port.

Set Up a Weighed Item:
Click Menu Items under the Products tab.
Click Add Menu Item.
Select Sales from the drop-down menu.
Be sure to mark Checkmark the Sold by Weight box ? checkbox before saving.
Refer to Add a Menu Item for more information about menu items.
Operation
An Place the item must be placed on the scale before tapping the menu item that is sold by weight. The weight of the item will display below the item on the check summary. Its (The weight does not include the tare weight, the weight of the container the item is in.) The price is multiplied by the unit of calculation configured in ECM.
