Summary
Prep courses can be established and used to schedule preparation time for specific course categories in the kitchen.
In addition, in the guest-facing UI, guests can choose to send items from specific prep courses to the kitchen before other items.
Page elements
- Add Prep Course (button) - Click to launch pop-up window to add prep course information
- Save Changes (button) - Click to save changes made in the grid
- Cancel Changes (button) - Click to cancel unsaved changes made in the grid
- Search (text box) - Click in the field to search information in the grid; numbers, letters and special characters accepted
- Pagination - Pagination tool at bottom allows user to page to previous or next pages or go to first or last pages
- Number of items selector - Allows user to select number of items to be displayed on the page (Default: 10)
- Number of items shown - Displays the number of items shown out of the total number of items available
Prep Courses grid
Specified columns in the grid can be filtered by using the filter icon

| Reminder Time | The number of seconds for a reminder to pop up and notify the kitchen to begin preparing an ordered item |
| Sort Order | The order in which the prep courses should appear on the check and ticket |
| Sort Order controls | Up/down arrows used to arrange the sort order of the prep course |
