Summary 

Print routing allows the user to select where a menu item will print by selecting specific kitchen location printers.

Example:

  • Salad - Route to the printer at a salad station kitchen location 
  • Beverage - Route to the printer at a bar kitchen location 

Configuration 

  • Select a menu item
  • Click the Print Routing tab 
  • The print routing grid will show:
    • A list of sites in the left column 
    • The kitchen locations configured and available for each site 

  • Use the vertical scrollbar at the right side to view additional sites; use the horizontal scrollbar at the bottom to view additional kitchen locations 

  • By site, click to select the kitchen locations that the items should route to for printing
  • Save and deploy 


Local Printer 


Help text is available for the Local Printer selection. Click the question mark to display the help text: 

  • The local printer is defined as either:
    • The printer assigned to the device in use 
    • The printer assigned to the location the user is attached to 

Note: if a device is set to print at one kitchen location printer and a location is set to print to a different one, the device setting will take precedence
