This document summarizes the improvements in ECM 2019-04-23 release and serves as a quick reference to these items. For more complete information, please refer to the ticket number shown.*

Report: Hourly Reporting Categories 

Reports gross sales on reporting categories by hour and by site.
(Voids and refunds are not deducted from gross sales.)
Select by day and site or sites. 

This report requires that the site has reporting categories configured. 

Path: Categories > Reporting Categories 

Workflow

Path: Reports > Reports 

  • Select Hourly Reporting Categories
  • Select site(s) 
  • Select start and end dates for report 
  • Report will display gross sales for each reporting category by hour and by site 
    • Reporting categories are shown in alphabetical order
      • Each reporting category can be expanded or collapsed (default: all categories expanded) 
    • Sites are shown in alphabetical order 
      • A selected site is required to have at least one sale between the start and end dates to appear on the report
    • Hours represent a union set of the store hours of all sites with sales. (Example: The union of the sets {1, 2, 3} and {2, 3, 4} is {1, 2, 3, 4}This avoids duplication of hours in the report.) 
  • Report cannot be filtered, sorted or grouped
  • Report can be exported in Excel and PDF formats (CSV export not available)

OE-12796 - Business Date Format 



Report: DSR Multi-site 

This abbreviated Daily Sales Report shows basic sales information for one or more sites:

  • Gross Sales
  • Comps/Disc
  • Net Sales

Information will be shown separately for each site. 


Workflow

Path: Reports > Reports 

  • Select DSR Multi-site
  • Select Site(s)
  • Select Group(s) (optional) 
  • Select business date for report (default: today's date)
  • Click Refresh Report 
  • The report will refresh and display the following information

Columns:

  • Description
  • Gross Sales
  • Comps/Disc
  • Net Sales

All columns can be filtered. 

Report sections:

  • Reporting categories
    • Total Sales = Sum of all reporting category values
  • Taxes and tips collected
    • Total Collected = Sum of all taxes and tips collected PLUS sum of all reporting categories
  • Payments - Shown by type 
    • Total Payments = Sum of all payments collected
  • Variance
    • Variance is Total Collected minus Total Payments

OE-12761

Combo Menu item: Allow PLU/barcode to be set for combos

A PLU/barcode can be entered in ECM at either the global or site level for a combo menu item. 

Path: Products > Menu Items > edit a combo menu item 

Global setting 

  • Enter a value in PLU/Barcode Number
  • Save 


Site-level setting 

  • On Menu Items page, select a site or sites before selecting a menu item 

  • Edit a combo menu item; enter a value in PLU/Barcode Number; save

The ECM portion of this feature is complete.

OE-12730

Combo menu item: Admin can set start/end date 

Start and end dates can be set for combo menu items. The item is available to be ordered on the start date and not available after the end date.

Dates can be set at either the global or site level for a combo menu item. 

Path: Products > Menu Items > edit a combo menu item 

  • Start date:
    • Click the calendar selector to select a start date

  • Click the time selector to select a start time 

  • End date:
    • Click the calendar selector to select an end date
    • Click the time selector to select an end time 

The ECM portion of this feature is complete.

OE-12565

Combo Menu Item, Reduced Price: Add a setting for percentage reduction  

A combo menu item that is configured as reduced price combo type can be set to reduce the price by a set dollar amount or by a percentage amount. 

Account Feature Toggle Required**

Allowed reduced price percentage on combos

Path: Products > Menu items > add/edit combo menu item 

  • Combo Type: select Reduced Price
  • Options available: 
    • Dollars - default
    • Percentage

Options: 

  • Select Dollars; enter the dollar amount reduction to be applied 

  • Select Percentage; enter the percent reduction to be applied (value can be carried to two decimal places) 


Note: The percentage option is not available if the account feature toggle is not enabled. Only a reduced price amount can be set.
