Summary
A POS device can be configured to interface with peripheral devices (printers, scales, scanners, etc.) at the site.
- Peripherals are first added to the site on the Sites > Peripherals tab.
- The peripherals are then available to be selected on the Device Peripherals page.
Configuration

| Print to specific printer | - Not selected - Printing will default to the printer assigned to the location where the order is taken.
- Selected - When selected, a dropdown list is shown with a list of printers available to be selected. When a printer is selected, orders taken from the POS device will print to the selected printer

Enable drawer assignment | The option Enable drawer assignment is only available when Print to Specific Printer is selected - An account feature toggle is required to be set by the CBS admin for this feature to be available.
- Job permissions are also required to assign staff to a drawer and to require drawer assignment for payment.
- Drawer assignment allows the site to assign dual cash drawers to specific users for cash accountability.
- Each user's access is restricted to their assigned drawer
- Receipts for each assigned drawer print to the same printer
