Locations are individual tables, counters, kiosks, etc. that are located within an area.

*To setup print routing for menu items there must be a location setup with its location type set to "kitchen"

When editing an area a user may edit the following under the locations tab:

 

On this page a user may add or edit a location.

 

 

When adding/editing a location a user may edit the following:

 

Location Type - 

  • Order Entry - Select if this is a counter, table, drive-thru or kiosk location.
  • Kitchen - Select if this is a kitchen screen device or if this is the location printing will route to.

Location Name - Enter a name for the location.

Location Description - Enter a description for the location.

Table Number - Enter a table number that will appear on the iPad in the location manager.

Active - Check this to enable/disable the location.

CC Pre Auth - Check this to require credit card pre-authorization before ordering.

Cash Pre Auth - Check this to require cash pre-authorization before ordering.

Print After Send - Check this to print a receipt after sending an order to the kitchen.

Print After Pay - Check this to print a receipt after applying payment on a check.

Available Order Types - Select appropriate order types available at this location.

Default Operation Mode - Select the default operation mode for this location.

Default Order Type - Select a default order type for this location. If unselected the order type will need to be chosen from the iPad.

Printer - Select which printer this location will send tickets/receipts to.

External Code - Please leave as default value. External Codes are used for 3rd party software developers.
