Creating your own access tokens is a new feature. It may not yet be enabled for your account. If you would like this enabled, please contact your representative at Custom Business Solutions. |
You are in full control of your data. Third-party reporting companies require an Access Token to access your restaurant's data. For exampleThis includes:
- Restaurant Magic (Data Central)
- Mirus
- CompEatCompeat
- Any other partners who access your reporting data
Viewing your access tokens
- Sign in to ECM
- Navigate to the Access Tokens page in the Admin menu.
Here you can see your current tokens.
Creating a token
Click Add New Token.
- Add a Label for your token. This should usually be the name of the company who will use this token.
- Click Save Changes.
A token will be generated, which looks like a random series of letters, numbers, and symbols.
Revoking a token
If you would like to revoke access to your data, click the Revoke button next to a token. The token will immediately no longer be allowed to access your data.
