Summary
Menus are concept wide and hold all of the items for a restaurant.
The menu name, description and item prefixes can configured in the "General" tab.
Configuration
To navigate to the "menus" page, hover over "Categories" and click Menu. Click the 
next icon next to a menu to edit the menu.
| Function | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The name of the menu is the name that displays on the point of sale device. |
| Description | The description can only be seen in Enterprise Content Management. |
| "Print Prefix Items Ordered from this Menu on Receipt" | Items ordered from that menu will have the text entered as a prefix on the receipt. |
| Taxes | Check or uncheck the box next to a tax to enable or disable it |
Operation
When an item is ordered from a menu with prefixes configured, it will print like so:

Items can be active in multiple menus. Not all of its active menus may have prefixes configured to print on the receipt. This means that the prefix may print when the same item is ordered from one menu but not from another. |
