In this example, a message appears on the staff interface that attempted the print that Check-1 does not exist. Continued failures do generate on-screen messages.
Setting Up Printer RedirectionSet up printer redirection in ECM
Printer redirection is managed in ECM in the Sites -> Printers interface. Use the following steps to configure Printer Redirection. The user must have Site editing role.
- Log into in to ECM.
- Click the order entry buttonOrder Entry.
- Click the Click Sites menu.
- Click the Click Edit button of for the site in for which you wish to configure printer redirection.
- Click the Click Printers tab.
- Ensure that the printers that you wish to redirect from and to exist. If not, add those printers.
- Click the Edit button of the Click the edit (pencil) icon for the printer that you wish to have redirect. The Edit - Printer dialog opens:
