(Work in progress)
Pricing Overrides are used to alter the price of a menu item, component or serving option on a specific menu.
This is commonly used when setting up a happy hour menu with items located on another menu.
Be aware of multiple pricing overrides
Be aware that multiple pricing overrides can have unintended results.
Example:
Menu item: Taco plate
- Taco plate is priced at 1$0.00 It is set at -50% pricing override during Happy Hour
- Components of the taco plate are priced at $5. They are set at -50% pricing override during Happy Hour
- Result: The components AND the taco plate are each reduced 50%. Components are reduced 50% to $2.50 then the taco plate is reduced another 50% to make the overall price 1.25.
