Menu Item Pricing is a function that provides an easier way to manage pricing overrides on items through a broader perspective.

Pricing overrides are applied depending on which menu the item is ordered from. For example, an item may cost $5.00 in the breakfast menu, but only $4.00 in the afternoon menu.

To configure the menu item prices, navigate to the "Menu Item Pricing" page under the "Products" tab.

Check the box next to a category to bring up the configuration screen. All of the items in the category will display to the right like so:

To configure the price of an item for a specific menu, click the corresponding price box.

Entering a negative value will deduct the price by the amount given; it will not price the item at a negative amount.

After configuring the prices, ensure the item category is active in the menus. This window can be found in the menus page.

Save changes and publish.

Notice how these are all the same items. The prices change depending on the menu it was ordered from. Tap Menus to select a menu.
