Items Summary Enhanced

Menu item sales summarized and enhanced with detailed financial information (net totals, comps, discounts, tax) per item sold. Menu items are grouped by sales category for selected site(s) within a specified business date range. 

Steps:

  • Select Site(s) and/or Group(s)

  • Set date range for report 

  • Click Refresh Report 

Collapsed view: Shows summarized information for each Sales Category 

Expanded view: Shows expanded menu item details for the items within each sales category.

Site(s), Group(s) and Business Date

  • Select site(s) and.or site group(s) 

  • Select start and end dates for date range of report

    • Default: current date

    • Select date from calendar tool or enter date

Sales Category

Sales categories for items sold (Only sales categories with item sales for the site/date range are reported); column can be filtered

Quantity 

Total quantity of items sold in sales category

Cover Count

Total number of cover counts applied to items in sales category; column can be filtered

Net Sales 

Net Sales of sales category (Net sales = Gross sales - Comps - Discounts); column can be filtered

Comp 

Total dollar amount compensated for sales category; column can be filtered

Discount

Total discounts applied for sales category; column can be filtered

Gross Sales  

Total sales including discounts and comps; column can be filtered

Percentage 

Sales Category percentage of total sales; column can be filtered

Export Report

Save file in Excel, PDF or CSV format

  • PDF will appear in either expanded or collapsed view, depending on the view shown before exporting to PDF

Expand All/Collapse All

Expands or collapses all sales categories to display item detail information or the summarized sales category information
