Guest Identifiers (ECM)

 

Account feature toggle required

An account feature toggle must be enabled for your account to use this feature: Allow Guest Identifier Categories

Please contact your NorthStar representative to have this feature enabled for your account.

Summary

To improve ordering speed and ease of use, guest identifiers are used to define descriptions for quick selection during the order-taking workflow. (Guest identifiers can contain up to 27 characters.)

To access Guest Identifiers, go to: Categories > Guest Identifier

Configuration

Guest identifiers can be added, edited, searched and moved to change the display order.  

Add Guest Identifier Category

  • Click Add Guest Identifier

  • Form field opens to add guest identifier

  • Add guest identifier text (maximum 27 characters), select Active.

  • Click Save Changes at top and continue adding guest identifiers.

Edit guest identifier 

  • Click the edit (pencil) icon to edit name, description and active setting.

  • Click Save on the pop-up form and click Save Changes on the Guest Identifiers grid.
