Credit card - Reprint guest check

Summary 

After a credit card has been swiped, there may be a need to verify the credit card has been authorized. This can be done by reprinting the guest's credit card slip showing the authorization. 

Operation 

• After an order has been entered and paid for by credit card, the check panel will show the credit card payment and the last four digits of the credit card number:

To reprint the guest check: 

• Tap Payment

• On the Payment screen, tap the blue  icon to launch the Adjust Tip keypad

• Tap Reprint guest check to reprint the authorized credit card slip

Open

• Two receipts will print: a merchant copy and a customer copy

• Both copies will show the Auth Code for the transaction

Note: A finalized check can also be reopened and reprinted as above.
