Edit a Combo - General - archive

When editing a combo a few of the steps differ from other menu item types. A user may edit the following:


Name - Enter a name for the menu item.

Description - Enter a description for the menu item.

Combo Type - 

  • Discount Price - This combo type adds a discount price to the total of all of the items within the combo.
  • Prevailing Price - This combo type replaces the total amount of all of the items within the combo by the prevailing price.

Amount - Enter an amount for the discount or prevailing price.

Menu Item External Code - Please leave as default value. External Codes are used for 3rd party software developers.

Adjustment Reason External Code - Please leave as default value. External Codes are used for 3rd party software developers.

Sales Category - Select the sales category that the combo item will apply to.

Allow Save To Favorite - Check to allow a user to save this combo to their favorites.

Active - Check to enable/disable the menu item.

Apply Discount After Taxes - Check to apply a discount/prevailing price to this menu item after taxes are applied. (This check is going to be removed in the future. Combo Discounts are always applied before taxes)

Taxed For Takeout - Check to have this item taxed when ordered for take away.
