Set up a Location (Dine in vs Take out)
Step 1:
Login to ecm.cbsnorthstar.com using the site's credentials.
Step 2:
Navigate to the Sites and click on the pencil button to Edit the Site that needs to make this change
Step 3: Click on the Areas tab from the Edit - Site pop up. Then click the edit button next the Area that is need to make a change
Step 4: Click on the "Locations" tab and you will see the list of locations that are available
Step 5: Edit the specific location that needs to make the change. From there you will see the following message.
You can grant available order types and set the default order type.
If the customer wants Take out by default and dine in as an option. You will want to check both dinein and takeout as the available order types then set the default order type to Takeout.
This needs to be setup at each location manually. We should show the customer how to set this up and have them perform the rest.
Just like with all changes in ECM once this is completed you will need to perform a site deploy.
Step 6:
Default Operation Modes is another place the customer can become confused.
Please read the operation modes document to clarify.
Basically if the site wants to use say "counter mode" all the time then they want to set the default to Counter.
