How to use the Item Price Import/Export Utility

Item Price Import / Export is a utility for exporting your item prices to excel. You can make price tier changes in bulk and import the new pricing back into NCM.

Enabling the utility

a. From the Tools menu, click on "Options"

b. Check "Enable Item Price Import / Export"

c. Setup Item Price Change Reasons

Exporting Prices

a. From the Tools menu click on "Export Item Prices"

b. You can search for a specific Price Tier or filter by Price Tier Group

c. Check the Price Tiers you want to export and click OK (Hint: Exporting single Price Tiers or small groups is easier to manage than exporting everything in a single speed sheet.)

d. Click Save and OK

Making your changes in Excel. 

a. Open the csv file, make your changes

b. Save (do not convert the file to any other format, import utility only works with csv)

Importing price changes

a. From the Tools menu, click on "Import Item Prices"

b. Select the csv file, click "Open"

c. Verify, make sure NCM reads your price changes correctly. click Ok.

d. Select a "Reason" from the dropdown menu and enter any comments you may have.

e. Click Ok, your done
